Tracy M. Vandover, Legal Counsel

Tracy has over a decade of experience as an employment lawyer and collaborative business partner advocating for clients who vary from Fortune 250 companies to small business owners to executives in transition.

Tracy Vandover joined Carmody MacDonald in 2018 and focuses her practice on employment litigation.

Tracy has over a decade of experience as an employment lawyer and collaborative business partner advocating for clients who vary from Fortune 250 companies to small business owners to executives in transition. Her litigation background provides the skills necessary to advise clients on HR matters, conduct workplace training, and handle investigations with a proactive focus on avoiding problems.

Her experience in employment law is broad and deep, allowing her to help clients on a wide array of employment matters, including day to day human resources advice on various state and federal employment laws, employee discipline, workplace investigations, and employee terminations. She also assists clients in the investigation, defense, mediation, and conciliation of nationwide administrative charges of discrimination and Department of Labor complaints.

Tracy can draft and review settlement agreements and severance documents, provide legal counsel regarding the creation and analysis of employment agreements, conduct I-9 and wage and hour audits, and prepare employment policies and handbooks as well as draft, review, and update employment applications. She can also conduct workplace training for management and hourly employees as well as identify issues, develop strategies, and collaborate with senior management.
