Overview

Rich Laney focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, corporate transactions, business law, and privacy and data security.

In his real estate practice, Rich assists clients in a wide variety of real estate matters ranging from commercial leasing to acquisitions, sales, and development. Rich has significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and guiding clients through all aspects of a real estate transaction.

Rich additionally assists clients on corporate mergers and acquisitions, where he negotiates and drafts deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, disclosure schedules, closing and ancillary documents, and conducting due diligence reviews.

In Rich’s data privacy and information practice, he helps clients understand and comply with U.S. and international privacy and data security laws regarding the security of personal information and protected health information.
