Prominent Family Law Attorney Cary Mogerman Joining Carmody MacDonald

St. Louis, Mo., March 4, 2019 – Cary J. Mogerman, a St. Louis family law attorney, is joining Carmody MacDonald P.C. as a shareholder. Mogerman has been listed in the directory "Best Lawyers in America - Family Law" for the past 20 years and has twice been named "St. Louis' Lawyer of the Year - Family Law" by the same publication, including in 2019. His practice focuses on complex matrimonial cases involving business owners, professional practices, trusts and executive compensation in both privately held and publicly traded corporations.

Mogerman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, one of the 100 Diplomates of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers and co-author (with Joseph Kodner) of the book, ‘A Guide to Divorce in Missouri—Simple Answers to Complex Questions.”

Mogerman has been recognized as a Missouri "Super Lawyer" and designated a "Top 50" lawyer in St. Louis and a "Top 100" lawyer by the Missouri/Kansas "Super Lawyers" publication. Since 2017, Mogerman has served as one of six members of the Missouri Commission on the Retirement, Removal, and Discipline of Judges. He earned his Juris Doctoris at Washington University in St. Louis and received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Drake University. He serves as a vice president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and as a member of the executive committee of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Foundation.
