Patrick W. Keating, Associate

Patrick has performed closings on acquisitions for a wide variety of companies, both small and large, and has experience in transactions with private equity groups.

Patrick Keating is an attorney in Carmody MacDonald’s Business Services group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate reorganizations and strategy, emerging market and growth companies, and corporate governance.

Patrick represents both buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions and provides invaluable counseling throughout the acquisition process. He provides both legal and practical advice during the negotiation and preparation of definitive agreements, throughout the due diligence process, and on post-closing matters.

Patrick counsels corporate clients on understanding what is needed to accomplish their business goals, from regulatory and compliance issues to establishing a successful corporate structure. Patrick also advises start-up and growth companies in connection with corporate governance issues and with raising capital to meet their increasing financial needs.

Patrick is a former professional baseball player in the Kansas City Royals organization. He earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University and his bachelor’s in history from University of Florida.
