Lindsay concentrates her practice in the area of general civil litigation. She has extensive experience defending individual healthcare providers and healthcare organizations in medical malpractice cases throughout St. Louis and the surrounding area. She seeks to protect the license and reputation of medical providers accused of negligence. Lindsay currently serves as the managing counsel for the largest ambulatory surgery center network in the United States and handles all aspects of high-exposure, complex medical malpractice cases through resolution, including developing and implementing trial strategy, conducting depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions and successfully negotiating settlements at mediation. Lindsay also routinely represents treating physicians at deposition.
In addition to both prosecuting and defending business tort and contract claims, Lindsay also has experience litigating a variety of other disputes in such areas as personal injury, condemnation and real estate related disputes. She has handled matters in state and federal courts in both Illinois and Missouri.
Lindsay has been recognized as a Rising Star by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers each year since 2015. As of 2024, she is recognized by Best Lawyers as one of “The Best Lawyers in America” for Commercial Litigation. Lindsay prides herself on being a responsive counselor to her clients and diligently tending to each case.
Prior to joining Carmody MacDonald, Lindsay worked at a well-respected civil defense litigation firm in St. Louis where she concentrated her practice on cases involving complex litigation matters including personal injury, premises liability, multi-party products liability and pharmaceutical products liability.
Lindsay has been actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri as a community-based mentor, as well as the Little Bit Foundation where she served on the Young Professionals Board. Lindsay currently serves as a member of the Executive Board for North Side Community School, a public charter school providing accessible education for low-income, under-served neighborhoods in St. Louis City.
Born and raised in Sikeston, Missouri, Lindsay received her B.S. in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri – Columbia where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta and her J.D., Cum Laude, from Saint Louis University. She is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Missouri. She lives in University City with her husband, who is also an attorney, their two children and their three dogs.
