Joseph J. Kodner, Of Counsel

Joseph Kodner has practiced family law since 2005 and focuses his practice on complex asset divorces, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, modification, paternity, and contempt cases, as well as related appeals.

Joseph Kodner has practiced family law since 2005 and focuses his practice on complex asset divorces, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, modification, paternity, and contempt cases, as well as related appeals. He also drafts highly technical projects, including prenuptial agreements, appellate briefs, summary judgment and legal memoranda.

Joe has spoken and written on a variety of legal topics, both locally and statewide, including at the Missouri Bar Annual Meeting and the Missouri Bar Solo and Small Firm Conference. His topics have included the impact of trusts in family law cases, collection strategies, and case law / statutory updates.

In addition to his other publications, he recently co-authored an informational book about divorce law for lay people, entitled A Guide to Divorce in Missouri: Simple Answers to Complex Questions (Addicus Books 2017).

Joe is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas, and is an avid guitar player and collector. He is married to Holly Kodner, and they are the parents of two daughters.
