Overview

Brennan Connor is a principal at Carmody MacDonald and focuses his practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, and tax.

Brennan has experience advising individual and business clients on matters related to estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, wealth preservation and business succession planning. He also helps businesses of all sizes with corporate formation, development, and governance as well as the negotiation and documentation of acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, restructurings and other business transactions. Brennan emphasizes accomplishing clients’ goals while minimizing their tax impact.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a major, international accounting firm and was an associate at another St. Louis area law firm. He has experience advising clients regarding the state tax consequences of mergers, acquisitions, and internal restructurings, choice of entity and federal tax reform. He has also represented clients in audits and administrative appeals before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local taxing authorities.
