Ashley N. Dowd, Associate

Ashley Dowd joined Carmody McDonald as an associate in 2019. She focuses her practice in the areas of banking, real estate, corporate, and business law.

Prior to joining Carmody MacDonald, she worked in Omaha, Nebraska at a litigation firm where she gained experience in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, and social security disability. Ashley also assisted counsel in a two-week criminal jury trial.

While in law school at Creighton University, she earned a joint Master of Science degree in Government, Leadership, and Organization and was a clerk with the in-house counsel of Union Pacific Railroad. She also spent the fall semester of her third year working in Washington, DC as a fellow for both the Senate Joint Economic Committee and Futures Industry Association, a leading global trade organization for the futures, options and centrally cleared derivatives markets.
