Lawyers at Carmody MacDonald P.C. were honored again this year with recognition as 2009 Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyer.  Principals Gerard T. Carmody, James P. Carmody,  Mark B. Hillis, and Kelley F. Farrell were included on this prestigious list again this year.

Jerry Carmody was included in the areas of Business Litigation, Real Estate, Employment and Labor Law, and also included in the Top 100 Super Lawyers.  Jim Carmody was included in the area of Family Law and Appellate Law.  Mark Hillis earned the status of Super Lawyer in the areas of Banking, Real Estate and Closely Held Businesses.  Kelley Farrell was recognized in the areas of Employment and Labor, Eminent Domain, and General Litigation.

Also acknowledged as a Missouri and Kansas Rising Star were Brian C. Behrens in the areas of Business/Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Information Technology/Outsourcing, Zofia A. Garlicka in the area of Family Law and David P. Stoeberl in the area of Business Litigation.

Only five percent of Missouri and Kansas attorneys receive this honor each year.  The selection procedures outlined by the awarding organization includes peer nominations, a blue-ribbon panel review process and independent research on candidates.
