Jim concentrates his practice in matrimonial litigation. He has more than 20 years of litigation experience, and has concentrated in Family Law for more than 18 years. Jim has represented numerous individuals in widely diverse domestic relations litigation, including considerable appellate practice.
Jim's experience includes extensive work in matrimonial litigation involving complex financial issues, real estate, closely-held business interests and valuation disputes, as well as considerable experience in high-conflict child custody cases. Jim has authored and co-authored numerous appellate briefs in a wide variety of Family Law contexts, as well as other civil litigation. Jim also collaborates with other Carmody MacDonald trial attorneys in Family Law matters and in Business Litigation.
