David H. Luce concentrates his practice in general civil litigation, including real estate, employment and commercial litigation. He is one of the firm's three managing principals. He has represented individual and corporate clients in a variety of matters including environmental, insurance, personal injury, products liability, regulatory, tort and mineral royalty disputes, including class actions. He has appeared before 14 different state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Prior to his association with Carmody MacDonald, Dave was Associate General Counsel at Trans World Airlines, Inc., where he was responsible for managing all corporate litigation. He was formerly a senior member of the in-house legal department at Koch Industries, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas, the nation's largest privately-held corporation. Because of his extensive business background, he has developed and implemented successful strategies to avoid, assess and manage litigation-related risks.
