Team of volunteer attorneys from Carmody MacDonald donates time and expertise to Junior Achievement St. Louis

Several lawyers from Carmody MacDonald P.C., including Principal Mark Hillis and Associates Jessica Kennedy, Meghan Lamping, Mark Mulchek, Kameron Murphy, Dan O’Donnell and Emily Rosen spent the 2008-2009 academic year serving their community through volunteering with Junior Achievement St. Louis.

Junior Achievement is “the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.” Each attorney spent hours in the classroom delivering the JA curriculum as well as their own life experience of working as a lawyer in St. Louis.

This year’s total number of students participating in Junior Achievement classes exceeded 127,000, the highest number covered by JA St. Louis in its 65-year history. On a national level, it is the second highest number served of any metropolitan area.
