Brian Nolan Recognized as an Up & Coming Lawyer of 2017 by Missouri Lawyers Weekly

October 6, 2017

Carmody MacDonald P.C. is proud to announce that Brian Nolan, Principal Attorney, has been selected as one of only 41 Missouri attorneys on the “Up & Coming Lawyers of 2017” list by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Attorneys who are 40 or younger or who are within their first 10 years of practice are selected based on their demonstrated excellence and their positive impact in the legal profession and on their communities.

At Carmody MacDonald, Brian plays a key role in the transactional department and assists clients with a variety of business transactions. He is a problem solver who focuses on finding practical solutions to client needs. Brian describes his approach to the practice of law by saying, “I was taught early on to make your client’s problem your problem and to try to walk in their shoes. It is vital to genuinely listen and care about the client’s issues in order to understand and be a trusted counselor.”

Brian is also honored for his work in his community. He most recently served as President of the Risk Management Association (RMA), an industry group focused on risk management in commercial lending. He has been on the Board of Advisors at the Mid-County Y for several years, and he volunteers for the USGBC and as a youth sports coach.

We extend our congratulations to Brian on this outstanding accomplishment that demonstrates his commitment to the community and to legal excellence.

Brian Nolan concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, banking and commercial finance, corporate transactions and business law. He represents a wide array of business and individual clients, with an emphasis on real estate and commercial and industrial lending transactions and workouts, negotiation and drafting of various contracts and business agreements, and all aspects of real estate development, including the negotiation of property acquisitions, leasing (for both landlords and tenants) and the utilization of tax credits and other incentive programs for development and financing.
